As usual, we had a wonderful time in Colorado. It's always so good to reconnect with people you love!

After taking a couple laps around the rest area, we were ready to hit the road again.
We stayed several days with the Roys in their mountain home in Buena Vista, CO. THANK YOU! What a wonderful, peaceful place to be with friends!

Lainey, Madeleine, Sophie & Emma at Hammond's candy factory! This is the only Hammond's candy factory in the world...and it's free to tour. They make their candy by hand...candycanes, ribbon candies, & lollipops. What a fun place to visit!

We stayed a night at a hotel and the kids enjoyed time at the pool.

Matt stayed to do some business in CO, and the kids and I drove back home. One last surprise was to stop at Build-a-Bear before hitting the long road back to NE.
We stayed in Kearney that night and enjoyed time at The Children's Museum with the kids' cousin, Keaton, before heading the rest of the way home. Here is Sophie singing her little heart out!
