Lainey received her First Reconciliation on Friday, December 2. What a beautiful moment for her...and for us as parents knowing we need to continue our teaching and upbringing in our faith. We can talk to God and ask for forgiveness, but there is something very powerful about having to bring our faults to another human being and being absolved of our sins through his intersession.
Confession heals, confession justifies, confession grants pardon of sin. All hope consists in confession. in confession there is a chance for mercy. Believe it firmly. Do not doubt, do not hesitate, never despair of the mercy of God. Hope and have confidence in confession.
